A September to Remember

It was an amazingly unexpected turnout of 17 Porsches in front of the backdrop of Mauna Kea in Waimea under brilliant blue skies and a few puffy clouds on this fun drive, the Kohala Loop as we call it. We covered about 80 miles all together under perfect, clear conditions.

Our first stop was at Harbor Gallery for a bathroom break and several people, including some new members, picked up t-shirts and key fobs from the club stash.

We eventually getting back to Waimea at the Wai’aka Stream Bridge where we once  again turned downhill on Kawaihae Road.  About a dozen of us then enjoyed lunch at Seafood Bar in Kawaihae. Just a gorgeous, fun day on fun roads.

Next month, Oktoberfest! October 17th, third Saturday, a week after the traditional Ironman Triathalon which was cancelled this year.
