Beautiful day for a drive with the Porsche Club of America – Big Island, Hawai’i Region
Waikoloa Village through Waimea to Laupāhoehoe to Hilo. Couldn’t have asked for better weather. Rob said it was a great drive today with you all!

Laupāhoehoe is one of my favorite spots on the island to watch the waves and just take in some of the beauty of our island.
The site of a devastating tsunami April 1,1946 but still home to many, there’s a peacefulness here.
We stopped and visited with an Aunty tending to her prize hibiscus. She’s lived in the valley her entire life, graduated from the school that was destroyed in 1946. It would have been awesome to have been able to spend the day visiting with her and learning more history.

Will Bateman said, I had a blast cruising with the Club down the Hamakua Coast this morning. Aloha.
