Out tour began at Old Airport Park in Kona on the Big Island of Hawai with the “Saddle up and move em out whistle”. Morning temperatures were 75-77 degrees and Humidity of 65 %. Winds were from the North East at 8-12mph , our usual trades after a ” Local TV weather man” scare from the nightly news….. to expect showers on the west side of the Island. Clear and dry road conditions prevailed…..
Most of us are from the west side of the Big Island and are used to traveling together and looking out for hazards that may interfere with smooth completion of the Tour. We ended in back Kona at the Old airport. 221.8 miles, 7 hours and 25 minutes!
